Abstract

In so many Hadiths, there are mentions of many such good deeds which become expiation for sins. By adopting these good deeds, not only does a person become free from sins, but sometimes sins are also converted into good deeds. Allah did not make man merely bound like the angels, deprived of the wealth of intellect like the living creatures, and deprived of the power of consciousness and decision-making like the animals, but also gave him consciousness, the power of decision-making and the ability to distinguish between good and evil. That is, man was also given the additional power to distinguish between good and bad, right and wrong and right and wrong. In this article, the difference between human beings and other creatures in matters of goodness and evil has been presented through the interpretations of hadiths.
