History and Revolution in the Modern & Contemporary Algerian Novel (Theoretical View)

Abstract

Crippled novel writing has taken tortuous and complex paths because it does not have a clear situational vision. Creativity and its times refer to attitudes related to the events inherent to it and to the depth of the issues of society and the nation. One of the controlling hypotheses for the question of writing, however, the important issue in this research is that creative practical relationship with history or in another form the problematic relationship between literature and history, and this has been the subject of disagreement between scholars and critics, because the new novel changed its artistic methods and developed its methods of expression and expanded its tributaries and benefited from Heritage and history, which is the subject of our tagged research: History and revolution in the modern and contemporary Algerian novel. From it, the following questions can be raised: about the nature of this historical novel, is it history or creativity, and what is the difference between the work of a historian and a novelist? On the difference between novelists in proposing and employing revolutions; Within this, let us stand on modern and contemporary fictional writing in this regard, and try to research the relationship between history and the novel.
