Abstract

The study titled “The Signs of Steady Rhythm in the Poetry of Muhammad Al-Nasir Kabara” a study in the Diwan of Sabhat al-Anwar min Sahbat al-asrar. It aimed to shed light on Nigerian Arab literature in general, and especially in the twentieth century AD, in which the poet lived. The study followed the analytical stylistic approach. The study found that the most important characteristic of rhythm is that it is more comprehensive than weight, and weight is only one of the aspects in which the rhythm is recited in the poetic text, that is, if the weight is fixed, the rhythm is variable. Therefore, it breaks the stereotypes in the poetic text, and removes it from stagnation, and it is closely related to poetry, but it is considered an essential characteristic of it, and it is not imposed on it from the outside, and that the poet’s use of poetic themes was multiple and varied Muhammad Al-Nasir organized his poems, his verses, and his narratives on most of the occasional seas of poems, with the exception of seven seas

 والرمل، والسريع، المنسرح والخفيف والمقتضب، والمضارع، المجتث،

In the systems on the sail of a well-known circulating seas, and in the poet there is a tendency to use poetic seas of long poetic weight with many syllables, and this in turn reflects his belonging to the class of traditional conservative poets, who choose from the most luxurious words, from the compositions of their possession, and from the most clear pictures, and perhaps this confirms that "the rhythmic weight is what guides the intended purpose, and it turns out that the most common and used letters are:

التاء، والباء، والهاء، والنون، والراء، والدال، والميم، واللام

In this order, he followed the ancients' approach to choosing smooth rhyme.
