Abstract

Anees Mansoor is one of the most popular writers of Egypt. He memorized the Holy Qur’an when he was only seven years old and only in the age of twelve he had read various books of philosophy. The structure of Anees Mansoor’s literary life is influenced by his training, education, environment, profession, passion for reading, personal library, different languages, travels, and various literary personalities. Thus, he has written books in various literary genres but he has gained a lot of fame in travel writing, and his travelogues have become very popular. This article will briefly explore the life situation of Anees Mansoor , his travelogues and their impacts on the society.
