There is no doubt that talking about the methods of criticizing the story in Syria and its epistemological references, foretells of its conflict between the references of classical/traditional criticism and modern criticism, as it showed a clear keenness to complete the process of impressionistic criticism, and it also celebrated realistic criticism and its ideological extensions despite the decline in the late The seventies, however, his statements seem present in the criticism of the nineties and beyond, and in most cases, and the approaches that are guided by psychological criticism were captive to “extra-textual” formations that distance themselves from the methodology. It is resolved between them and the modern criticism methods, which in their reading of literary texts depend on the literary pronunciation in isolation from the external contexts to which the text refers.
Accordingly, most of what I seek from this study is to enable it to shed light on the methods of narrative criticism in an important stage of criticism of the story in Syria, perhaps it will be the beginning and the beginning of other studies that trace the process of narrative criticism in Syria in other stages.
