Religious Intertextuality in the short Stories of Bint Al-Shati in Al-Hilal Magazine "Selected Models”

There are many terms that came within the framework of the concept of intertextuality, such as: (text interaction), (textual overlap), (relationship between texts) and (textual relationships), all of which are terms for one concept with narrowness in some and breadth in others.
Intertextuality is a clear phenomenon in Bint Al-Shati’s short stories, especially with regard to the Islamic heritage, either directly or indirectly.
This research deals with religious intertextuality in the short stories of Bint Al-Shati in Al-Hilal magazine (selected models), through the following two axes:
- The first axis: intertextuality with the Holy Qur’an.
- The second axis: intertextuality with the noble hadith.
- These two axes are preceded by: an introduction and a preamble, followed by the conclusion of the research.
The research aims to clarify the manifestations of religious intertextuality in Bint Al-Shati's short stories through "selected models.
It is clear from this brief research article that Bint Al-Shati derives many ideas and meanings from religious texts and religious biography. To infuse the creativity of a Muslim woman who is dependent on religious authenticity and which gives rise to future prospects.
