This research aims to monitor the efforts of Iraqi researchers in the field of linguistic phoneme, using the lexicographical studies in (Theses and Dissertations) as a field for it. The choice fell on lexicographical studies, because the dictionary represents a fertile ground for all levels of language, especially phonemic, and the research was divided into five An important sound investigation, so the first topic was in the voices exits, the second study was in Al-Ialal, the third study was in substitution, the fourth study was in the spatial heart, and the fifth was in the follow-up.
The study of phonology has a great importance, this research focuses upon the most important efforts made by Iraqi scholars in Iraqi universities to monitor this scientific bid related to the linguistic phoneme, and stand on the most important scientific developments that took place at this linguistic level.
This research aims to monitor the efforts of Iraqi researchers in the field of linguistic phoneme, using the lexicographical studies in (thesis and dissertations) as a field for it. The choice fell on lexicographical studies, because the dictionary represents a fertile ground for all levels of language, especially phonemic, and the research is divided into five basic parts, part first is about the pronunciation of words, the second is about Affiliation, the third is about substitution, the fourth study was in the Spatial inversion, and the fifth is about the Al-Itba (Follow).
